Is your elder husband aware that the WTB&TS has said "OK" to the use of Hemopure, which is made from cow's blood? As ScenicViewer suggested, maybe you have fibromyalgia. Maybe you are beginning to feel the burden of aging in this old system of things. Is it a sin to be ill and low energy? Maybe you've been a little depressed lately. Maybe you've got a touch of arthritis. You know the only prescription is Jehovah's Marvellous Free-Lunch Picnic in Paradise, and you can't wait!
A few years ago one of the members here was asked "Do you still believe this is Jehovah's organisation?" His reply was, "Oh yes, I do... I'm just not sure God exists." They left him alone. I'm not suggesting that you say this, but it shows you how Jehovah's Magic Spirit makes one wise.

Q.: What's so bad about believing people go to heaven?
A.: For openers, such a believe is incorrect and has no basis in observable reality. It is an extraordinary claim for which no extraordinary proof is offered. The fact is that there is no such thing as a "spirit realm" populated by any kind of gods, angels or demons. There is no soul and there is no heaven for a soul to go to. These things are the inventions of chimpanzee imagination seeking desperately for a meaning for their lives. On a universal scale, our lives are as meaningful to the universe as the life of a spider, axolotl or fossa.
Secondly, such a belief encourages the believer to view this life as a "dress rehearsal" for something better that will come along as soon as they finish with this nasty trail of tears. Such a belief encourages people to tolerate evil because they figure that evil will be handled in the "world to come."
It makes trusting simple souls the dupes of narcissistic liars and con men.
It is the desperate refuge of ignorant shallow thinkers.
THAT is what is so bad about believing people go to heaven.

$10 per pub. Money begging session last night
by StarTrekAngel inlast night, during our "christian life and ministry" meeting, we had a session on local needs.
elder opened the talk with a disclaimer saying that this was a reminder (cited psalms about how david loved jehovahs reminders).
he reminded us of how bless we are of having our own local assembly hall.

It's great that they don't take collection and rely on Jehovah to keep the work going forward.
The Jehovah Sock Puppet, on the other hand, relies on guilt-trpping and threats that you might not see Paradise if you're not a cheerful Borg-anism.

Office Jargon, drives me nuts
by punkofnice in'granular' seems to be the latest buzz word going around my office.
previously it was 'appetite'.. abstract words that appear to be designed to make the person saying it appear powerful and part of the 'team'.. as lord sugar has observed before; why not just speak english and say what you mean.. office jargon really annoys me.
i had enough loaded language and jargon in the disgusting jw cult..

by Olivia Wilde ini just finished reading chapters 11-12 of raymond franz, crises of conscience & i must admit, i am pretty strong person, however the way ed dunlap & ray franz were treated left me crying, i had tears rolling done my eyes driving home from work on friday... & how ed was kicked out by wt, left me feel soo disgusted & outraged.... it was very obvious he needed to stay at bethel because of his age & medical conditions but i admired he didn't compromise his conscious, it's sickening to me how cold & callous these men can treat a christian after all his service.... & of course ray franz situation was no exception either, the witch hunt they did to get him out was, well, there's just isnt enough adjectives to describe their disgusting motives against him... he was 59 yrs old trying to make a honest living with his wife & for them to go after him was devious & demon like.... i'm soo grateful i came across this book & i wished i had much much sooner.... i know god will reward both ed dunlap & franz plus many many more who have been unjustly & unchristian like treated during that time & this time, sooo sickening.....i still feel very much upset & emotional over the whole thing .... i never met any of them & then yet i feel deep christian love for them......

Jookbeard, I'm fine, thanks. How are you? I get weary reading posts that are closer to the random typing of a demented chimp than the communication of an intelligent human, and I am especially weary of those who feel that the most politically correct path in life is the one with low expectations and zero accomplishment.
Am I correct that you are in Germany, jookbeard? How are you liking all those unfortunate refugees who are simply catching up on their sex quotas with the women of a country that extended a helping hand to them?
